Switching from CounterGo

The CounterGo alternative — from sketch to install.

Same $100 sticker. Different seat. CounterGo is quoting alone — scheduling is another $120 a user. A CounterQuotes seat draws and prices the counters, nests them on the slab with a real yield number, books the job when the customer accepts online, and shows them the schedule in a portal. All of it, one price.

Quoting, compared

What the estimating seat actually does.

1

Prices as you draw

Every edge, cutout, and splash lands on the quote the moment you draw it — no re-entering the drawing as line items. DXF import is live, and a photo of a hand drawing becomes a draft quote you check rather than redraw.

2

The slab layout is the material line

CounterGo's slab view is manual arranging. CounterQuotes auto-nests the pieces, holds vein direction across seams, and prints the yield percentage — the slab count on the quote is the layout, not a fudge factor.

3

Customers accept online

Moraware's own help docs confirm CounterGo has no built-in e-signature. Here the customer types their name on the quote link and you hold evidence-grade acceptance — name, IP, and a frozen copy of exactly what they approved.

4

Won quotes book themselves

When a quote is won, the job's template, fabrication, and install dates draft themselves from your workflow defaults — because that's the moment a real shop books the template. In the Moraware world, that step is a second product.

One price, everything in it

The seat never asks for an upgrade.

In the Moraware world, capability arrives as separate products and per-user add-ons — quoting here, scheduling there, inventory as a module. Here there's one $100 seat with everything in it, and everything we ship next — slab inventory and purchase orders, forms and checklists — lands in that same seat the day it's ready, the way job files and the crew phone app just did. The comparison page has the full feature matrix, priced from the vendors' own pages.

Switching is concierge: we move your customers, price book, and quote history in with you and check the result against real quotes before go-live. More on switching from the whole Moraware suite on the Moraware alternative page.

Questions

Asked by every switching estimator.

How does the price compare to CounterGo?
The sticker is the same — $100 a user. The seat isn't: CounterGo is quoting only, with scheduling sold separately as Systemize at $120 a user with a three-user minimum. A CounterQuotes seat includes quoting, scheduling, CRM, the customer portal, and QuickBooks — plus 2 free crew seats with every office seat.
Can customers sign quotes online?
Yes — the customer opens the quote link, types their name, and accepts. You hold evidence-grade acceptance: typed name, IP address, and a frozen copy of exactly what was approved. Moraware's own help docs confirm CounterGo has no built-in e-signature.
Does the slab layout optimize yield?
Yes — pieces auto-nest onto slabs with vein direction held across seams, and the yield percentage is printed on the layout. The material line on the quote comes from the actual nest, not a multiplier.
Can homeowners request quotes from my website?
Yes — every shop gets a public "draw your countertop" page to link from its website. The homeowner sketches their counters in a guided wizard, picks up to three colors from your live catalog, and the request lands on your pipeline with the drawing attached. Accepting it creates a draft quote with the drawing loaded — and no price is ever shown to the homeowner; you price it after a real conversation.
Does it import DXF files?
Yes, DXF import is live — digitized templates come in as real geometry you can price. It can also read a photo of a hand drawing and turn it into a draft quote you check rather than redraw.
Do new features cost extra?
No — there are no tiers or add-on modules. Slab inventory and purchase orders, plus forms and checklists, are next on the roadmap (job files and the crew phone app just shipped), and each lands in the same $100 seat the day it ships. The comparison page has the full feature matrix.
